Bio
"I am Lindokuhle Zondo a qualified Oral Hygienist and dental student from Katlehong. I am introverted, accommodating and very kind person. Always aiming to achieve 110% in everything I do...or just do my ultimate level best.
What has been your most surprising learning in your journey to getting your degree?
The most surprising thing was firstly going to Phelophepha in 2018. The Train of Hope (Phelophepha), are two unique trains that operate as mobile healthcare hospitals, bringing much needed medical and educational services to impoverished rural areas of South Africa. I was not expecting anything like that living in a train and working in the same train was something I never expected. How that train is designed is absolutely amazing.
The second thing is what I am going through now online learning. I never expected it. Something new to me. I am used to have a lecture or teacher in front of me. But this has really showed me some parts that I did not know about myself which are surprising.
What advice would you give to young people who want to study your degree?
The advice that I would give a young person that is planning to pursue the path I am taking is to make sure that they love dentistry and willing to compromise. It is an exciting field and with a lot of challenges. It really needs love.
What would you like to achieve in your career?
I would like to open my practice and have branches all over RSA but also not forget to give back to the community as much as I can. Also contribute in dental research.."
