1. You must be a South African citizen.

2. You can NOT be older than 35 years of age as of 25 November 2025.

3. Based on your latest academic results you must have an average pass mark of 65% or above.

4. Your gross (before deductions) household income must be less than R600 000 for the year.

5. You must be a full-time student or be applying to be a full-time student.

6. You must live in or come from one of the following areas:
- Gasegonyana
- Joe Morolong
- Gamagara
- Tsantsabane
- Thabazimbi

7. You must have proof of acceptance (or provisional acceptance) at a recognised public institution of higher learning, OR proof of application.
